1. Platform Overview & Acceptance

HaiducAdopt is a service offered by Haiduc Honden Services. The platform provides an online space where users can publish dog listings for local adoption, connect with other users, and discover dog-related services. By using the platform, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Age Requirement (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use features that involve messaging, publishing listings, or providing services. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. HaiducAdopt’s Role (Neutral Platform)

• HaiducAdopt does not own, shelter, transport, or sell dogs.
• HaiducAdopt does not mediate adoptions or verify the outcome.
• All adoption decisions and responsibilities remain strictly between users.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted information.
• We are not responsible for communications between users or their consequences.

4. Local Adoption Focus

HaiducAdopt promotes local adoption. The platform is designed to connect people within the same country or region. Users should not use HaiducAdopt to arrange international transport or import/export of animals. Any activity that suggests trafficking, illegal transport, or suspicious relocation may result in immediate suspension.

5. User Accounts & Authentication

Users may create an account using supported authentication methods (e.g., Google, Facebook, or email + password if available). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all actions performed through it.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Do not share accounts or impersonate others.
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Listings & User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the content you publish (text, images, details).
• Listings must be truthful, respectful, and not misleading.
• All communications and agreements between users are made at their own risk.
• You must comply with all applicable local laws regarding animal welfare and transfers.

7. Prohibited Activities

• Selling dogs, brokering sales, or commercial trading of animals.
• Promoting illegal transport, trafficking, or suspicious relocation.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination, or abusive conduct.
• Fraud, scams, spam, or misleading contact information.
• Posting content you do not have the right to use (copyright violations).
• Attempting to bypass platform security or access restricted areas.

8. Messaging & Communication

Messaging is provided to help users connect. You agree to communicate respectfully and responsibly. HaiducAdopt does not proactively monitor private messages, but we may review content when it is reported or required to maintain platform safety.

9. Reports, Moderation & Enforcement

Users may report listings or behavior. We may remove content, restrict visibility, or suspend accounts based on reports, suspected abuse, or violations of these Terms. We reserve the right to take action without prior notice where necessary to protect users and platform integrity.

10. Dog Services (Businesses)

Businesses offering dog-related services (e.g., hotels, day-care, training, grooming) are responsible for the accuracy of listings and compliance with local laws and regulations. HaiducAdopt does not guarantee service quality, availability, or outcomes.

• Basic: business card listing (logo, contact data, short description).
• Premium: full business page (gallery, social links, extended profile).
• Trial: service listings may be offered free for a limited period (e.g., 9 months), after which the listing may move to a default plan as described on the platform.

11. Intellectual Property & User-Uploaded Content

The HaiducAdopt platform, design, structure, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Haiduc Honden Services.

By uploading photos or content to HaiducAdopt, you confirm that you own the rights to that content or have permission to use it. You grant HaiducAdopt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-freelicense to store, display, reproduce, and distribute this content for platform operation, moderation, promotion of listings, and marketing of HaiducAdopt (e.g., social media previews, sharing cards), unless you request removal and content is deleted from the platform.

12. Affiliate Links & External Websites

HaiducAdopt may display affiliate links or partner banners. If you click and purchase through such links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. External websites are governed by their own terms and policies, and HaiducAdopt is not responsible for external content or transactions.

13. Liability Limitations

• HaiducAdopt does not guarantee the success of adoptions or service outcomes.
• We are not liable for dog health, behavior, temperament, or user conduct.
• We do not mediate user disputes, agreements, payments, or legal issues.
• Use of the platform is at your own risk. Content is provided “as is”.
• Platform access may be restricted for updates, maintenance, or security reasons.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HaiducAdopt / Haiduc Honden Services from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for users, or harm the platform. Users may request account deletion at any time. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security purposes.

16. Data Protection (GDPR)

We process personal data according to GDPR. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy. Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting support.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on the website. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
